A Walk Through Eldrathor - Bloody update Ver 0.5.8.
From this version onward, a stroll through the courtyard of Eldrathor Castle will always pose a challenge.
Version 0.5.8 introduces a new enemy who fights with his own weapon—a magical sword. This new foe is the infernal horned demon,
who in this version inhabits the castle ruins. Another innovation in the combat system is blood, which spills from our opponents
during battle—unfortunately, from our player character as well... Maintaining appropriate realism, skeletons and the like do not have blood;
perhaps in the future they'll be equipped with... sawdust? Or some other surreal filling? ;)
The next major change is the revamped quest system UI, which is significantly expanded.
Each quest is now a separate card that flips over once the task is activated, and clicking on it displays the details (of course, on a stone tablet, as befits an epic tale).
Thanks to the new UI, we can also switch between active quests by placing the marker wherever we want to head next.
It's also worth mentioning the artistic grandeur of the entire interface, but you'll judge that for yourselves during your visit to Thalor Valley.
Another new feature is the inclusion of project patrons' nicknames and names in the game's credits section,
accessible from the main menu starting with version 0.5.8. Patrons also get their own special mode:
pressing F1 during gameplay opens an additional panel where you can tweak individual game variables, s
uch as the amount of gold, resources, or even activate god mode.
